ISSP Methodological Research
The methodological work in the ISSP is coordinated by a Methodology Committee, consisting of seven members elected by the General Meeting. The Methodology Committee is chaired by New Zealand.
The Methodology Committee co-ordinates currently the work of seven groups working on different areas of cross-cultural methods, all concerned with issues of equivalence:
- demography
- non-response
- substitution
- mode effects
- questionnaire design
- translation
