The Survey Research Center (SRC) and the Samsung Economic Research Institute (SERI) hold co-membership in the ISSP.

The SRC was established as a research organization at Sungkyunkwan University in 1997, in recognition of the growing demand for survey research in Korean social sciences. The SRC embodies two basic missions: social surveys and dissemination of survey data. During its relatively short existence, the SRC has carried out a number of large-scale surveys, and enjoyed the strong support of scholars and institutions from both inside and outside the academia.

SERI, founded by the Samsung Group in 1986, is a leading research organization in Korea, specializing in national economy and business administration. SERI has conducted numerous researches for various private and public organizations, and delivered research materials worldwide through diverse media. With its strong commitment to cross-national and interdisciplinary research, SERI has joined the ISSP as a partner and sponsor of the SRC.
